Volunteer with Heartland

Dear LCB Environmental Science class,

We are looking for chef's assistants to work at the Mill City Farmers Market. It would be a great experience for you to work with local foods and to meet/work with the top chefs in the Twin Cities. We have cooking demos every single week at the market by top chefs - last year we had Alex Roberts, Rick Kimmes, Lucia Watson, Brenda Langton, Tim McKee, Jack Riebald, Paul Lynch, Lenny Russo, etc.

We need volunteers to serve as chef's assistants - shopping the market for ingredients, prepping and assisting in cooking, giving out samples to the audience, light cleanup.

Details:
Saturdays, May 5th - Oct 20th
Market hours, 8am - 1pm
Cooking demos are TYPICALLY at 10am
Volunteer hours: APPROXIMATELY 9:00am - 11:30/12:00
