Meat contributes to climate change

A report by the U. N. Food & Agriculture, is saying that this global warming might be cause by livestock, I guess anything could be possible. You can go to the DailyIndia.com, and the report

That is really bizzare to think that global worming can be caused by livestock. I guess you stated it best when you said, anything can be possible. Good artical.

It takes more land, water, and energy to produce meat than to grow plant foods. It’s several times more efficient to eat grains directly than to funnel them through farmed animals. The effects on the environment are mostly a product of the vast amount of animal wastes. I am not saying don't eat meat (after all I do too), but it is within reason to say that eating less meat could reduce some of these effects.
