China's farmland at risk from pollution

If this article is to be believed, China is pretty well on it's way to our industrial revolution mistakes. Well, actually, I think they are all ready there.

"More than 70 percent of China's waterways and 90 percent of its underground water are contaminated by pollution, according to previously released government figures, but the impact on soil has never been measured."

The study they are talking about isn't completed yet, however.
