Here's a real stinger...bees are hurting too!
This is an article on how honeybee colonies are collapsing. The introduction of parasitic mites and diseases as well as changes in the environment are stressing the bees. Even though bees can be annoying (and boy does it hurt when they sting!) they are an important part of the environment. Hopefully something can be done to prevent losing anymore bees. I didn't realize they were so sensitive to diseases.
